Announcement – Traineeships in German as a Foreign Language

The Department of Slavic and German Studies (University of Minho) is pleased to welcome international students for a traineeship as Lecturer in Teaching German as a Foreign Language. Current students of Bachelor, Master or Doctoral Programmes and recent graduates in the area of German as a Foreign Language (DAF) are welcome to apply if they are eligible in their home institutions and fulfill the general Erasmus Placement requirements.

INSTITUTION	Department of Slavic and German Studies – Institute of Arts and Humanities – University of Minho
LOCATION	Campus of Gualtar – Gualtar – Braga – Portugal
MAIN AREAS OF ACTIVITY	Supporting DAF classes, by organizing conversation, reading and writing activities in German as a Foreign Language (DAF) for Portuguese students
STUDENT PROFILE	. Ease of communication . Creativity . Sense of responsibility . Ability to work in group
STUDIES PROFILE	German as Foreign Language (DAF) Modern languages and literatures Applied Languages
LEVEL OF STUDIES	Recently graduated students Postgraduate students (master’s or doctoral degree)
KNOWLEDGE OF LANGUAGES	German C1-level
STARTING DATE	Flexible, but during the academic semesters (July to August and January excluded)
DURATION	3 – 6 months, during the academic semesters (July to August and January excluded)
GRANT	Applicants shall apply for an Erasmus+ traineeship mobility scholarship at their home higher education institution
